Our high wind season runs from November to April, when La Ventana has its most reliable and stable winds. The breeze and water can feel chilly during winter, so a wetsuit is needed.

Absolutely! Non-kiter packages include accommodation, food, and morning yoga sessions. They do not include additional activities on no-wind days. Please get in touch with us to discuss the details.

To reserve your spot in a camp, we require a 30% deposit of the total amount. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable as we commit rooms and instructors in advance. The remaining balance (70%) is due 60 days prior to the camp start date.

We receive all camp payments through Wise (formerly TransferWise). Wise is a minimal-hassle, secure currency transfer platform that allows you to make international transfers from any bank account directly with very low fees and excellent exchange rates (acting like an international Venmo or Zelle!).

You are welcome to arrive late or leave early during a camp week, but our pricing remains the same and we cannot adjust rates. We strongly encourage guests to stay the full 6 nights to fully enjoy the group dynamic, activities, and the complete 15-hour private coaching curriculum.

Perfect conditions cannot be guaranteed. If a day lacks enough wind for kiteboarding lessons, we will replace the session with another activity covered by us: snorkeling in the bay, hiking or mountain biking in the desert, or a massage.

No! Our camps and school cater to all skill levels. Because all lessons are strictly private (1 instructor per student), your coach will tailor the progression directly to your pace whether you are flying a kite for the first time on the sand or working on advanced jumps.

Yes, the wind and Sea of Cortez water can get quite chilly during the winter. You will definitely need a wetsuit. Wetsuits are included in all camp and lesson packages. However, we always recommend bringing your own if you have one, mainly for hygiene reasons and to guarantee a perfect personal fit. We suggest a thickness of 3/2mm or 4/3mm.
